"The Moment I Seek You, There You Are."

During the past few weeks, I’ve been reminded that the moment I take a leap of faith, I am already caught. Trusting in God's Plan requires me to be unapologetic in the changes that He orchestrates in my life.

In a previous post, I wrote about the Present Pie and the importance of being your authentic self to properly extract your blessings. The thing is, being your unique self comes with a unique journey as well. We consume many ideas and window-shop other people’s journeys through social media every day. Sometimes it’s easy to get lost in that.

The journey that I'm walking on is supposed to look different than the next person’s journey. There won't always be a direct reference for where I'm supposed to go next. This is why faith matters.

When I woke up yesterday, I found myself simply whispering for God’s help in gaining clarity on my path. I tried getting my day started with some music and content-creation. I began to get fatigued shortly after starting. Then, I heard my partner listening to a virtual church service and it sounded like it was going better than my endeavors, so I sat in with her. We ended up watching 4 sermons together. Each one filled our spirits with everything that we needed to hear. My partner didn’t know of my whispered prayer that morning, she just chose to follow what was in her heart. I told her “thank you” for listening to her heart, because she unknowingly helped me out. She said to me -- "God used me to get these messages to you." This reaffirmed the feeling that began this blog post:
